On Sunday, December 14, 2025, Kahla will once again host its popular Advent in the Courtyards event from 3 to 6 p.m. The historic old town will open its doors and transform hidden courtyards, vaulted cellars, and arcades into atmospheric venues full of charm and warmth. Visitors can look forward to regional specialties, high-quality gift ideas from local manufacturers, and many lovingly designed details.
A special highlight are the city tours with Michael Gauer, which offer exciting insights behind the scenes of the city's history. Those who prefer to explore on their own can discover the courtyards with a handy city map while enjoying a hot drink from a specially designed cup made of genuine Kahla porcelain.
